  • Dr. Gunter's forensic services include:

    • Trial and Deposition Expert Testimony

  • For a brain injury claim, Dr. Gunter prefers scheduling a Forensic Neuropsychological Evaluation over two successive days. Appointments begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. Lunch is taken from noon to 1:15 p.m. each day. Typically, there are 10- to 15-minute breaks as needed by the examinee throughout the day. The first of the two days typically ends no later than 4:15 p.m. – a six-hour work day (minus several 15-minute breaks). The second day of the examination ends as early as noon in some cases and usually by 3:00 p.m., with lunch taken from noon to 1:15 p.m., as previously mentioned. The number of hours the examinee spends over the second day depends much upon the examinee’s pace of work and the number of claimed subject accident/subject injury psychological, cognitive, or behavioral injuries that have to be evaluated.

  • For a psychological injury claim only (i.e., no claimed head trauma), Dr. Gunter prefers scheduling a Forensic Neuropsychological Evaluation over one and a half successive days. The first day the examinee will either come in from 9:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m to complete two self-report questionnaires. The second day of the examination will start at 9:00 a.m. and continue until noon. Lunch is taken from noon to 1:15 p.m. The examination will then resume until 4:15 p.m. The number of hours the examinee spends over the second day depends much upon the examinee’s neuropsychological history and claimed subject accident/subject injury psychological and behavioral injuries that have to be evaluated.

  • For questions regarding fees or scheduling, please call Dr. Gunter or Ms. Naho Sakamoto (Office Manager) at 702-827-8890. Information will be gathered about the case and what services will be required of Dr. Gunter. A copy of Dr. Gunter's curriculum vitae (CV), current attorney agreement, list of recent testimony, and any other documents that may pertain to the case will be sent to the law firm.
